Farm Workshops at Island View Farm

We’re excited to offer new farm workshops led by our deeply knowledgeable farm manager, Ashton. These are designed to share practical skills, deepen ecological understanding, and connect people with the land and each other through hands-on, thoughtful experiences.

Ashton brings years of experience with regenerative agriculture, medicinal plants, and contemporary floral design—along with a deep passion for land-based education and hands-on learning.

We offer both:

1) Public Workshops – open to anyone, with limited spaces.

Current Offerings:

Guerrilla Gardening: Seed Bombs + Habitat Restoration $20/person

Description: Create “seed bombs” using native plant seeds and learn re-wilding basics.

Pollinator Habitat Workshop $45/person

Description: Build mason bee houses + learn how to attract pollinators to your garden.

2) Private Workshops – Custom sessions ideal for team-building, birthdays, or community gatherings.

In addition to any workshops listed below, all public workshops can be done privately.

Natural Dye Workshop $80/person

Description: Guests transform organic cotton totes or using vibrant dyes made from farm flowers and herbs. Includes a dying demo and eco-printing techniques.

Private Group Policies & Notes:

Deposit: 30% non-refundable deposit to secure dates – booking not confirmed until deposit received.

Minimum of 5 participants and maximum of 25 – larger groups possible, let’s chat!
